PHP HostingSymfony, Laravel, and your PHP sites
Ultra-fast PHP hosting at the best price: choose your PHP version (5.2 to 8.5) and your extensions, install your dependencies with Composer, and manage your site from cPanel or over SSH. All on AMD EPYC, NVMe SSD, and LiteSpeed infrastructure — the same power on every plan.
Starting at $1.95 USD per month, billed annually.
Host Symfony, Laravel, and all your PHP projects
PHP was born for the web, and shared hosting suits it perfectly. Here is what our customers run on it most often.
Symfony hosting
Structured projects with Doctrine and Twig, or API Platform for your REST APIs. The Symfony console is available over SSH or from the cPanel Terminal.
Laravel hosting
Web apps, APIs, and back offices with Eloquent, Blade, or Livewire. Composer, Artisan, the scheduler, and queues via cron.
CodeIgniter, Slim, CakePHP…
Lightweight frameworks as well as older ones, and your hand-written PHP scripts, with no framework at all.
WordPress, Drupal, PrestaShop
Over 400 apps to install in one click with Softaculous, accelerated by LiteSpeed Cache.
Why your PHP sites are faster with us
Most shared hosts run PHP with Apache. We use LiteSpeed, designed from the ground up to serve PHP faster, with fewer resources. Here is the path a request takes on our servers.
-
Network
HTTP/3 and QUIC
The request arrives over the web's latest protocol: a connection that's set up faster and stays more stable, especially on mobile.
-
Cache
LiteSpeed Cache
Page already cached? LiteSpeed serves it directly, without running PHP. For WordPress, Drupal, Joomla!, PrestaShop, OpenCart, and more.
-
LSAPI
PHP run by LiteSpeed
Otherwise, LiteSpeed hands the request to PHP through its LSAPI interface, faster and leaner than the classic Apache and PHP-FPM combination.
-
OPcache
Precompiled PHP code
OPcache keeps your compiled scripts in memory: PHP doesn't have to reread and recompile them on every visit. Enable it in one click from cPanel.
Deploy a Symfony project in 4 steps
The same approach applies to Laravel and most modern PHP frameworks.
-
Choose your PHP version
In cPanel, open Select PHP Version, choose PHP 8.5 (or the version your project requires), and enable the extensions Symfony needs, such as
intl,pdo_mysql, andopcache. -
Upload your code
Upload your project via SFTP, SSH / Rsync, or the cPanel File Manager, without the
vendorandvarfolders. -
Point the domain to
public/Point your domain or subdomain to the project's
public/folder. Addsymfony/apache-packto your project: its.htaccessfile is read directly by LiteSpeed for URL rewriting. -
Configure and launch
Create your MySQL database in cPanel, set
APP_ENV=prodandDATABASE_URLin.env.local, install the dependencies with Composer, then run your Doctrine migrations and clear the cache. Your app is live, with free SSL.
# Production variables in .env.local # APP_ENV=prod # DATABASE_URL="mysql://user:password@localhost/mydb?serverVersion=11.4-MariaDB" # Production dependencies composer install --no-dev --optimize-autoloader composer dump-env prod # Database, assets, and cache php bin/console doctrine:migrations:migrate --no-interaction php bin/console asset-map:compile php bin/console cache:clear # If you use Messenger: cron job (every minute) # that processes pending messages, then exits * * * * * cd ~/myapp && php bin/console messenger:consume async --time-limit=55 >/dev/null 2>&1
Everything you need to run a PHP project
Included on every plan, starting with Nano.
PHP 5.2 to 8.5
Switch versions in a few clicks, and roll back if your site isn't compatible yet.
Extensions and php.ini
Enable intl, gd, imagick, redis, and many more, and adjust settings yourself: upload_max_filesize, memory_limit, and so on.
Composer
Composer 2 is available on the command line to install and update your projects' dependencies.
Terminal, SSH, and Rsync
Artisan, the Symfony console, WP-CLI, and your scripts, right from the command line.
MySQL / MariaDB and phpMyAdmin
Create your databases in one click and manage them with phpMyAdmin, preinstalled. SQLite is also available.
Redis and Memcached
For Symfony or Laravel caching, sessions, and queues, in RAM, with no external service to pay for.
Real-Time PHP Security
Monarx and Imunify360 detect and block malicious scripts and known attacks, around the clock.
Reserved Resources
4 GB of RAM, 2 AMD EPYC vCPUs, and 30 entry processes per account, isolated by CloudLinux: a resource-hungry neighbor won't slow down your site.
Twice-Daily Backups
30 days of backups you can restore yourself from cPanel: files, databases, or the full site.
Is shared PHP hosting right for your project?
For PHP, the answer is almost always yes. Here are the rare cases where a dedicated server is a better choice.
Ideal for
- Symfony or Laravel apps: business websites, SaaS, back offices
- WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla! sites and PrestaShop or WooCommerce stores
- Business apps: appointment booking, forms, client portals
- REST APIs for mobile apps or React / Vue sites
- Existing PHP sites to keep running while you modernize them
Better on a VPS
- Always-on PHP servers: Laravel Octane, Swoole, RoadRunner, FrankenPHP
- Continuous workers: Laravel Horizon, high-volume Symfony Messenger
- PHP WebSocket servers: Laravel Reverb, Ratchet
- Root access or custom-compiled PHP extensions

PHP hosting questions
Which PHP versions are available?
Every PHP version from 5.2 to 8.5. You switch versions in a few clicks from cPanel, and can roll back anytime if your site isn't compatible yet.
Can I host a Symfony or Laravel app?
Yes. Point your domain or subdomain to the app's public/ folder, configure your environment file (.env.local for Symfony, .env for Laravel), then install your dependencies with Composer and run your migrations, over SSH or from the cPanel Terminal. Scheduled tasks work with cron.
Can I enable PHP extensions or change php.ini?
Yes. From cPanel, you enable or disable PHP extensions (intl, gd, imagick, redis, sodium…) and adjust the main options: upload_max_filesize, memory_limit, max_execution_time, and so on.
Is Composer available?
Yes, Composer 2 is available over SSH and in the cPanel Terminal, on every plan, to install and update the dependencies of your PHP projects.
Do Symfony Messenger and Laravel queues work?
Yes, with a cron job that runs every minute: php bin/console messenger:consume async --time-limit=55 for Symfony, or php artisan queue:work --stop-when-empty for Laravel. Pending messages are processed, then the process exits. A worker that runs nonstop (Horizon, Octane, high-volume Messenger) is better served by a VPS.
Will my old PHP 5 or 7 site work?
Yes, older versions remain available so you can keep an existing site running while you update it. However, these versions no longer receive security fixes: we recommend moving to PHP 8.3 or later as soon as possible.
Which plan should I choose for a PHP site?
All plans have the same server power. A simple PHP site fits in the Nano plan (750 MB). For a Symfony or Laravel app, the vendor/ folder often takes 50 to 150 MB: the Micro plan (2 GB) suits one project, and the Vtiny plan (5 GB) suits several sites.
The same account runs your other projects too
A Symfony site, a Node.js API, and a WordPress blog? They all live side by side on the same plan.
